According to the report the surf was meant to be good today. Three meters of swell and light offshore winds. The swill was there, and it was offshore, but at about 15 knots. The wind was so cold as well! I headed on down to burns and it was looking pretty fun. There were three boogie boarders out and quite a few sets coming through. I paddled out and to my surprise the tide was pretty damn low, all I can say is the surf looked a lot better than it actually was.

The waves definitely looked good, but it was a different story once you were out there.
